Promotion Policy

• Pupil remaining absent in written examination for whatsoever reason will not be re-examined. Oral exams, however can be pre-poned or post-poned only in case it is notified in advance to the examination Incharge.
• Pupil absent from an exam without advance information will be considered as fail in that subject. However if school authorities feel the circumstances to be unavoidable, assessment will be given in not more than 2 subjects.
• No pupil will be allowed to appear for the final exams if his / her class attendance is below 90% . Minimum marks of passing is 33% . In subjects involving practical / projects / assignment student have to qualify written exams separately.
• Promotion is made at the end of school year on the basis of students performance in formative and summative assessment (Half Yearly and Final).
• The answer scripts of the final exams will not be shown to the parents. However in some special cases authorities may review the answer scripts on payment of review fees within 3 days of declaration of result.
